- JPG/JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF. Keep the original format or convert to JPEG or WebP (WebP is typically 25-35% smaller than JPEG).
- Are my images uploaded?
- No. All compression happens in your browser using the Canvas API. Image data never leaves your device. Works offline.
- What does the quality parameter mean?
- Quality controls lossy compression (1-100). Higher values = better quality but larger files. 80% is the optimal balance. Below 60% may show visible artifacts. PNG with quality applied converts to a lossy format.
- Can I batch compress?
